Delete your account

You can delete your Trading Class account and everything saved with it at any time. You only have an account if you signed in with Google or Apple. Without signing in, your progress lives only on your phone and goes away when you uninstall the app.

Delete it in the app

Open Trading Class and tap You.
Tap the Settings button.
Tap Delete my account and confirm.

The account and its saved data are deleted straight away. You may be asked to sign in once more to confirm it is you.

Or ask us by email

Write to hello@tradingclass.app from the email address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

Your sign-in account (email address and first name)
Your saved progress: lessons, points, streaks and exam results

What is kept

Certificates you chose to issue stay checkable by their number, because people you shared them with rely on that. Ask us in the same email and we remove them too.
Purchase records kept by Google Play, the App Store and our purchase service (RevenueCat), and records we must keep for tax law, for up to 8 years. Ask us and we remove your account ID from RevenueCat.

Deleting the account does not cancel a Pro subscription. Cancel it in Google Play or in your Apple ID settings.
