Your AI-assisted routine, safely

Use AI before and after trading to prepare and learn, but keep the decisions and your private data with you.

2:25 · streams in seconds · the same video as in the app

In one line

AI can help you before the session and after it. Why keep it out of the minutes in between?

Explained simply

Think of AI like a sports coach. The coach helps you plan before the match and review the video afterwards, but during the match you play the plan you practised. And you never hand the coach your house keys: passwords and codes stay with you.

The lesson

A safe routine uses AI before the session to summarize news and build a watchlist, and after the session to review the journal. Decisions during a trade come from your written plan, not a chat window, and no tool should ever place trades on its own without your tested rules and your approval. Never share passwords, account numbers, one-time codes or API keys, which are secret keys that let software use your account, with any AI tool. Treat anything you paste as something that might be stored.

A worked example

Illustrative example: your routine takes 20 minutes before the session (a 10-minute AI news brief and a 10-minute watchlist check) and 15 minutes after it (journal and AI review). Over a 5-day week that is (20 + 15) x 5 = 175 minutes. The AI brief lists 12 stocks, and your plan's rules keep only 3 of them, which is 3 x 100 / 12 = 25% of the list. During the session no chat window is open: alerts, the checklist and the written plan make every decision.

The same idea at four levels

  1. Beginner. Use AI to prepare before trading and to learn after trading.
  2. Foundation. During a trade, follow your written plan, not a chat.
  3. Intermediate. Never paste passwords, account numbers, one-time codes or API keys into any AI tool.
  4. Advanced. Never connect an AI tool so it can place trades on its own, and if you automate anything, it must follow rules you wrote and tested, with limits and your approval.
  5. Expert. Build a repeatable loop: AI news brief and watchlist before, plan-only decisions and alerts during, journal and review after, then change one rule at a time based on checked evidence.

Mistakes to avoid

Check yourself

When does AI help most in a trading routine?

Before and after the session. Preparation and review are where it shines.

Which is safe to paste into an AI tool?

A journal with personal details removed. Cleaned notes carry no secrets.

During a trade, what guides your decisions?

Your written plan. The plan was written when you were calm.

Someone asks for your verification code 'to help'. What is true?

They are a scammer. Verification codes are only for you.

What is an API key?

A secret key that lets software use your account. Whoever has it can act on your account.

Goal of this lesson: Build a safe routine that uses AI for preparation and review while keeping decisions and private data in your hands.
