stop-loss

A safety exit you choose before a trade, so a small loss cannot grow into a big one.

The fuller meaning

A pre-set exit at the price where the trade idea is wrong, placed before entry, usually beyond the invalidation level. It caps the planned loss, which sets position size; it is not guaranteed and can slip in gaps. In this app every round uses a stop 1 ATR from the entry.

stop-loss, also called stop loss, stop.
