value per point
How much money one whole contract gains or loses when its price moves by one point.
The fuller meaning
The money value of a one-point move for one contract or unit, also called point value or contract multiplier: 50 dollars per index point for one E-mini S&P 500 future, 5 dollars for the Micro E-mini. Position size = money at risk ÷ (stop in points × value per point), rounded down.
