A trade made on a sudden urge, without checking your plan first.

An unplanned trade taken on a sudden urge, often after watching screens for hours, a loss or a fast move. Alert-based routines reduce them: in the lesson's comparison, a screen-watcher took 9 trades with 7 impulse trades, while an alert-based trader took 2, both planned.
