How a trade turned out, win or loss. One outcome can be luck, so it does not prove you played well.
The fuller meaning
The result of a trade or decision, which in the short run is heavily influenced by luck. Lessons separate outcome from process: judge decisions by whether the plan was followed, and judge a method only over many trades, since good decisions can lose and bad ones can win.
