death cross
When a slower average price line drops below a very slow one, which some people read as a sign prices may be turning down.
The fuller meaning
A bearish moving-average crossover: the 50-period average crossing below the 200-period average, showing recent prices running below the long-term average. It lags badly and whipsaws in sideways markets, so in this app it is a clue scored like other setups, not a sell signal.
