key level
An important price where buyers or sellers stepped in before, so price may react there again.
The fuller meaning
A price zone that has mattered before: prior swing highs and lows, support and resistance, round numbers, a volume-profile node or a moving average. Signals near key levels carry more weight; stops go beyond them, not on them, and the lessons draw them as zones rather than thin lines.
