swing low

A dip on the chart where price turned up, lower than the candles on both sides of it.

The fuller meaning

A candle whose low is below the lows of the candles on each side; many traders check two candles on each side, so it is confirmed only two candles later. Swing lows build structure, mark support and set stop placement for long trades and trailing stops.
