swing

One move of price from a low point up to a high point, or back down again.

The fuller meaning

One leg of price movement between turning points. Trends are series of swings; traders match the swing size they track to their timeframe, draw Fibonacci retracements on a big, clear swing and trail stops behind the latest swing low or high.
