uptrend
When price keeps making higher tops and higher bottoms, like walking up a staircase.
The fuller meaning
A sequence of higher highs and higher lows. It stays intact until price breaks below the most recent higher low, a break of structure; a line joining the rising lows is an uptrend line. A strong uptrend on the bigger chart can push right through a single bearish candle.
