buyers

The people trying to buy. When they push harder than the sellers, price goes up.

The fuller meaning

Market participants on the buy side; in candle reading, shorthand for demand pushing price up. Long green bodies and long lower wicks show buyers in control or stepping in. Price rises when buyers accept higher prices faster than sellers offer them.
