fundamental analysis
Judging what a company or market is really worth by looking at its money, like sales, profits and debts.
The fuller meaning
Estimating value from sales, profits, debt, cash flow and prospects, or for currencies, commodities and crypto from rates, supply, demand and adoption. Technical analysis studies price and volume instead; price and value can drift apart for years, so many traders combine both.
