harami

A small candle that fits inside the body of the big candle before it, showing the big move has paused.

The fuller meaning

A two-candle pattern in which a small body sits completely inside the previous large body: bullish after a long down candle in a decline, bearish after a long up candle in a rise. It shows the strong move has stalled, not reversed, so traders wait for confirmation.
