high-volume node

A price where lots of trading happened in the past. Price often slows down or pauses there again.

The fuller meaning

A price level in a volume profile where heavy volume traded, marking prices the market accepted. Price often pauses or rotates around high-volume nodes and races through low-volume gaps between them; the largest node is the point of control.
