marubozu

A candle that is all body and no thin lines, showing one side was in charge from start to finish.

The fuller meaning

A long-bodied candle with no wicks or almost none. A bullish marubozu opens at its low and closes at its high; a bearish one opens at its high and closes at its low. It shows one-sided control and strength, but chasing one at the end of a long, stretched run is a classic mistake.
