net profit
The money a company keeps after paying all its costs, loans and taxes.
The fuller meaning
What remains of revenue after all costs, interest and taxes, also called net income or earnings. Divided by the number of shares it gives EPS, and divided by revenue it gives profit margin; reported profit can differ from cash flow.
