OBV
A score that adds up trading on up days and takes it away on down days, to see if buyers or sellers are stronger.
The fuller meaning
On-Balance Volume: a running total that adds the day's volume when price closes up and subtracts it when price closes down. Its slope shows which side volume supports; divergence, such as price making a higher high while OBV makes a lower high, warns the move lacks participation.
