The fast line on a 0 to 100 gauge that shows where the latest close sits between the recent highest and lowest prices.
The fuller meaning
%K is the main stochastic line: (close minus lowest low) divided by (highest high minus lowest low) over N periods, usually 14, scaled 0 to 100. Readings above 80 are called overbought and below 20 oversold. In this app's version %K is smoothed over 3 candles before %D is drawn.
