point of control
The price where the most trading happened over a chosen stretch of time.
The fuller meaning
The single price level with the most traded volume in a volume profile. It marks where the market found the most agreement, and price often reacts on returning to it, bouncing or rejecting; the value area around it holds about 70% of the volume.
point of control, also called POC.
