The tip where two slanted lines on a chart meet, like the point of a triangle.

The fuller meaning

The point where a triangle's two converging trendlines would meet. As price moves toward it, swings and volatility shrink, which often comes before a bigger move. A symmetrical triangle stays neutral until price closes outside one of the lines.
