The part of the currency-trading day when New York's markets are open. It overlaps with London's, the busiest time of all.

The US leg of the forex day, after the Asian and European sessions. Its overlap with London is the busiest stretch of forex trading, with the tightest spreads; US stocks trade from 9:30 to 16:00 New York time within it.
