How much something costs right now: the amount buyers and sellers agree on in a trade.

The fuller meaning

The level at which an asset last traded, set by the balance of buyers and sellers. Price can drift far from a business's value for years; charts record its open, high, low and close for each period, and every level, pattern and indicator is built from it.
