One world clock that everyone can use, so market times from different countries can be compared easily.

The fuller meaning

Coordinated Universal Time, the reference clock from which time zones are offset. Traders keep a session map in UTC to line up openings, closes and data releases; crypto tools that reset daily, such as VWAP, often reset at midnight UTC.
