EUR/USD

The price of one euro in US dollars, the best-known pair in the world's currency market.

The fuller meaning

The euro quoted in US dollars, with the euro as base and the dollar as quote currency. For most pairs, including this one, a pip is 0.0001; pip value is about 10 dollars for a standard lot, 1 dollar for a mini lot and 10 cents for a micro lot.
