rounded bottom

A smooth, bowl-shaped dip on a chart, where price slowly turns from falling to rising.

The fuller meaning

A gradual, U-shaped base in which selling fades slowly into buying, forming the cup of a cup and handle. In this app's library the rounded bottom must be at least 2.5 ATR deep, with rims within half an ATR of each other.
